Artificial nociceptor based on TiO2 nanosheet memristor

With the development of technology, learning and memory functions artificial memristor synapses are necessary for realizing neural networks neuromorphic computing. Owing to their high scalability performance, nanosheet materials have been widely employed in cellular-level learning, but behaviors nociceptor based on rarely studied. Here, we present a with an Al/TiO2/Pt structure. After electroforming, device showed gradual conductance regulation could simulate synaptic such as potentiation depression weights. We also designed new scheme that verifies pain sensitization, desensitization, allodynia, hyperalgesia real nociceptors fabricated memristor. Memristors these can significantly improve quality intelligent electronic devices. Data fitting resistance low states were consistent hopping conduction mechanism. This work promises application TiO2-based devices next-generation neuromorphological systems.
